Nvidia has confirmed its plans for CES 2023 next year. Nvidia is expected to announce the much talked about GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and GeForce RTX 40 Series mobile GPUs based on its ‘Ada Lovelace’ architecture, including the GeForce RTX 4070, GeForce RTX 4080, and GeForce RTX 4090, on 3rd January 2023.
The specs and performance of the upcoming mobile variant of the GeForce RTX 4080 were also recently leaked. The leaked benchmark for the mobile variant of the GeForce RTX 4080 is quite impressive, showing a performance improvement of 20% over the desktop GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.
Furthermore, Nvidia is also expected to launch its mid to high-mid-range graphics card known as the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The graphics card was previously launched alongside the GeForce RTX 4090 and 4080 16GB as the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB.
Nvidia then had to un-launch the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB because of the backlash it received from the gaming community.
There is no news on other mobile variants of the RTX 40 series besides the leaked mobile version of the GeForce RTX 4080, though the performance and specs of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti was already shown at the launch of the RTX 40 series.
Like its bigger brothers, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will be based on Nvidia’ Ada Lovelace’ architecture and come equipped with AD104-400 GPU. The card will also feature 60 SMs and 7,680 CUDA Cores, while the 12GB of GDDR6X memory on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will run on a 192-bit bus interface with 48 MB of L2 cache.
The Nvidia CES 2023 event “GeForce Beyond” will be available for broadcast on 3rd January. At the same time, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is expected to launch two days after the announcement at CES 2023.
