If You Haven't Even Played The Game, You Will Still Fall In Love With The Series!

God of War Ragnarok is undoubtedly one of the best games released in 2022, with perfect graphics and animations. Despite being an excellent game, God of War didn’t win the Game of The Year award, but it did win Playstation Blog’s Game of The year Award.

It was revealed in December 2022 that the God of War TV show would be headed to Amazon Prime Video, and after a while, many fans had a hilarious concern. The concern was Tom Holland as Kratos in the series, so fans begged Sony not to cast him for this role.

Now fans are waiting for news regarding the progress of one of the best games in 2022. In a recent interview with Deadline, Katherine Pop, the president of Sony Tv Studios, shared some details about the series. Katherine clarified that the God of War TV Show would keep all the game’s values.

She said:

“There’s a lot of really important IP here, we’re working on God of War, the PlayStation title, which is still in the early stages. I know the game pretty well, and I’m so impressed with what they’re already doing in terms of building out that world and expanding, keeping all the values of the game but also expanding it so that if you don’t know the game, it’s still going to be a really satisfying show on its own.”

The latest Last of Us Live Adaptation has highly positive reviews, and it has made fans even more excited about the God of War TV series, as they expect similar results. Given the hype of the current show, it seems like Amazon and Sony would do everything possible to meet the fan’s expectations.

Katherine is impressed by how well the team is doing on the project. Not only are they keeping the game’s values, but they are also expanding on it. Moreover, Katherine revealed that the TV Show is in its early stages. So, it is fair to assume the show won’t be released soon.

We will likely get to see a trailer along with the release date in 2024. There is no room for error for Amazon and Sony as The Last of Us TV Show has set up the bar extremely high.

On the other side, Amazon Studios’ Head of Television, Vernon Sanders, also seems quite confident; as he said, if you haven’t even played the game, you’ll still fall in love with the series. So, fans can expect the show to be as they expected or even better.

Aside from that, what do you think of the show keeping all values of the game? Are you excited about it? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
