Everything Is On The Line With Next Game!

The Ori franchise has become a fan-favorite for its beautiful art direction, awe-inspiring soundtrack, and engaging platforming. After two successful Ori games, developer Moon Studios has moved on to a new project, and the Creative Director behind the studio has recently discussed the upcoming release.

Talking about the project, Thomas Mahler stated it will be a ‘make-or-break moment for Moon.

The developer hopes to revolutionize the ARPG genre and confirmed that the game would feature a top-down camera perspective. He went on to highlight games like Diablo, setting a high benchmark for the studio’s title.

In the past, the developer had this to say about Moon Studios’ next game:

“If Ori was our Mario, this is our Zelda.”

He confirmed that the future project would continue to offer a unique art style that fans have come to expect, and it will also be available on PlayStation.

The studio’s plans certainly sound ambitious. Moon Studios has shown incredible potential with the Ori franchise, and the developer could become a major player in a new genre if their next release lives up to previous games from the studio.
