Starting At $319 For Base Model!

Steam Deck, the gaming handheld from Value, has always been in demand since its official launch last year. The company has tried to meet this growing demand, but the handheld’s unique position in the market has made this extremely difficult.

Following months of success, Valve has introduced refurbished Steam Decks. The gaming giant has introduced a new program that will ensure the availability of stock at discounted prices, helping to meet demand.

These refurbished models will cost up to 20% percent less. Valve has also included an official 1-year warranty with minor cosmetic defects, and users looking to grab one of these can head to the Steam website.

Looking at the prices, the refurbished 512GB variant can be purchased for $519. This is a discount of over $100 from the $649 MSRP. Other refurbished variants, like the 64GB and 256GB models, are available for $319 and $419, respectively.

Valve claims that each device has been well-tested and lives up to the gaming giant’s high-quality standards. Therefore, users should not worry about the quality of the refurbished handhelds.

The demand for refurbished Steam Deck handhelds is expected to be very high. They may run out of stock in the coming days, so users looking to buy the devices are advised to do so quickly.

Valve has also partnered with GameStop to sell the refurbished devices. However, these particular devices will be refurbished at GameStop facilities and be limited to GameStop Pro subscribers.

Compared to the competition, Valve’s handheld strikes a nice balance between price and performance. It can offer impressive performance in various AAA titles like Spider-Man, making it a great purchase for those looking to try handheld gaming without breaking the bank.
