AMD might be getting ready to release a new product stack upgrade as Nvidia is getting closer to releasing its RTX 40-series Super graphics cards in January.

While AMD aims to expand more into the entry to mid-level performance sectors, Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 40 Super lineup is mostly targeted at the high-end market.

Arktek, a company with a relatively low profile, has just filed three new SKUs on the Eurasian Economic Commission (ECC) website.

These three new SKUs include the yet-to-be-announced Radeon RX 7600 XT, RX 7700, and RX 7800, which should fit in between the RX 7600, RX 7700 XT, and RX 7800 XT.

AMD’s goal with the RX 7600 XT and RX 7700 (non-XT) is to bridge the large gap that currently exists between the $230 Radeon RX 7600 and the $450 Radeon RX 7700 XT. It will be interesting to watch how AMD divides these two.

The Radeon RX 7600 XT was already rumored for a 2024 launch some time ago. In order to produce this GPU, AMD may need to use the larger Navi 32 MCM because the RX 7600 already maxes out the 6nm Navi 33 silicon.

When compared to the RX 7700 XT, which has 54 compute units, the RX 7600 has just 32 compute units. This gives AMD a lot of wiggle room to produce two cards like the above-mentioned Radeon RX 7600 XT and Radeon RX 7700, which can be further customized with other factors like MCD (memory cache die) count.

The Radeon RX 7800, on the other hand, would be an entirely different card. AMD has received a lot of criticism over the price difference of just $50 between the Radeon RX 7700 XT and the Radeon RX 7800 XT.

While the Radeon RX 7700 XT does perform quite well, the price tag of $450 was not justified when, for just $50 more, users could get their hands on a much better graphics card like the Radeon RX 7800 XT.

However, we might also see a price reduction for the RX 7700 XT to make room for the Radeon RX 7800, which would sit between the Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7800 XT, bridging the gap in performance and price.
