Keep in mind that raising your voice might cause the levels on the microphone to rise dramatically, so be careful. This feature helps those who are soft-spoken. Not to mention that compared to the Omnidirectional pattern, Cardioid recording tends to provide more consistent results when recording single voices.

However, if you’re not in an absolutely quiet area, you should take advantage of the noise reduction effects to deal with your high sensitivity.
