Twitter user Baiisun recently spent a great amount of time collecting these numbers through Google Trends. The user compared popularly searched terms with a game’s searches on Google and YouTube to reach an average statistic.

This led to approximate results that put Stalker 2 on the top. It is also important to note that the data reflects searches between January and March in 2024, so the rankings could change by the end of the year.

The top three games all finished quite close, with small differences in the rankings. However, major 2024 releases from Xbox, like Hellblade 2 and Indiana Jones, landed surprisingly low on this list.
