The Chinese AAA gaming industry has slowly and steadily been on the rise, only ramping up its presence in recent years. So, it is always exciting to see new breath-taking Chinese games taking on the established Western counterparts in popular genres. The new Delta Force game—helmed by the Chinese dev Team Jade—is aiming to be one such title, but it does not even see Call of Duty as competition.

The series is returning after 13 years of silence, and now the devs claim that other shooters in the industry are not a challenge for them at all.

Why it matters: Delta Force not seeing COD as a challenge has gained the interest of many gamers in the community. Some find it a bold move, while others have appreciated the nuanced and laid-back approach behind the decision.
