New World is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released on September 28, 2021, by Amazon Games Orange County and published by Amazon Games for Windows PC. Since its launch, the game has received mixed reviews – some players loved it for its combat and crafting while others did not so much by defining that it gets boring quite quickly.
New World was initially launched on the Windows PC platform. In a tweet themselves, Amazon Games announced that the game would be a PC exclusive for the unforeseeable future. However, it seems like Amazon is ready to expand the compatibility of New World and port the game on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo – according to this latest job listing:
Amazon Games is seeking a highly talented and motivated Technical Account Manager to join our Live Operations team in sunny San Diego to help bring our titles to our partner platforms (i.e. Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, Epic & Steam).
As of yet the only AAA game that Amazon games have is New World. And considering the job listing, it is very likely that the game they are planning to launch with their partner studios is going to be it. Also, despite the mixed reviews financially the game has done really well therefore it makes sense for them to launch it on other platforms.
As things currently stand, the partner companies with Amazon include PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam, and Epic Games. So it is very likely now that New WOrld is indeed coming to these platforms along with the already existing PC version.
So, we may see the launch on all of these platforms. There have been no official announcements from Amazon games so far on this. But seeing as New World did well financially, it is likely that this job listing will be for that. We will keep an eye out for any further news and update you.

New World takes place on the fictional island of Aeternum in the 17th century. The island of Azoth, situated amid the Atlantic Ocean, is home to a vital resource known as Azoth. Azoth is thought to be the source of perpetual life, capable of considerably enhancing everything it comes into touch with.
Many explorers are drawn to Aeternum by the promise of untold riches. Players may organize up to a five-person party, join one of three factions, make things, take control of villages with multiple quests, explore the world, or battle other players or creatures.
