God of War video game franchise has raised a lot of hype, even in its beginnings in the time of the PlayStation 2. However, since God of War arrived in 2018 and now, its sequel God of War Ragnarok, the hype is through the roof.
In this case, it is not a positive thing since toxic behavior has been seen from fans to developers due to the delay in the announcement of the launch date of God of War Ragnarok.
Sony Santa Monica Studio, the development team for the God of War saga, had to release a statement to stop this situation from getting out of hand. The statement reads:
Our fans inspire us, and we understand the passion and desire for more information. But that passion should not be toxic nor come at the expense of any human beingās dignity. Letās celebrate our community by trea
All this happened after a reliable leaker tweeted, and fans speculated that Studio would announce the release date on 30th June 2022, though it never happened. The game fans seem to have gone crazy with a delay of the supposed date!
Estelle Tigani – Cinematics Producer working on God of War Ragnarok, mentioned receiving photos of Pe**s in exchange for revealing the date of the game. At this behavior of fans, the designer and writer of God of War Ragnarok, Cory Barlog, was furious at the fans’ treatment of his team.
Are you fucking kidding me with this now???
I cannot believe I even have to say this but donāt fucking send dick pics to ANYONE on this team, or anyone in this industry for that matter.
They are busting their ass to make some for you to enjoy.
Show some fucking respect. https://t.co/o0xEZkWouj

This behavior is inappropriate and shows a toxic attitude towards Sony Santa Monica Studio employees. According to Cory Barlog, the developers are giving their all, in order to create a video game that the community, fans and consumers can enjoy.
Faced with the failure of June 30, where many believed that Sony Santa Monica Studio would reveal the date on which God of War Ragnarok, the community is eager to know the actual date.
The only thing we know for sure is that it will arrive this year, during the last quarter, something that even Cory Barlog has confirmed. Also, remember that COVID-19 and the rehabilitation of the actor who plays Kratos, Christopher Judge increased the game’s development time.
Even Jason Schreier, a reporter for Bloomberg, confirms that there will be no more delays of God of War Ragnarok; therefore, November 2022 is a very likely date. However, fans need to hold their horses.
Thank you! Please share your positive feedback. š
