Assassin’s Creed is unquestionably Ubisoft’s most popular and consistent franchise. The Assassin Creed games have evolved significantly since their initial release in 2007.
Each game transports players to a different era and location, such as the French Revolution or Ancient Egypt. In each game, players explore vast worlds while completing quests and assassinating important, sometimes historical, targets as part of a larger, somewhat muddled meta-narrative involving ancient aliens, evil Templars, and rebellious Assassins.
Ubisoft will reveal four new titles in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, including recently leaked Assassin’s Creed: Mirage and a mobile game at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022.
The codenames and settings of the new games were confirmed by a tweet from Idle Sloth, quoting a tweet from Tom Henderson, who initially confirmed the reveal.

Apart from the already revealed Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, the other three main games include codenamed Nexus, Red, and Hexe. Codenamed Nexus is a Virtual Reality game, while two other major games, Codenamed Red and Hexe, will be a part of Ubisoft live-service Assassin’s Creed Infinity which first came under the radar in July 2021.
According to the reports, Assassin’s Creed Infinity is an open-world game set in Japan, while its other part Neo/Hexe will be set in the era of the Roman Empire, which involves witch trials.
The speculated dates of the titles are also mentioned in another tweet from Tom Henderson.
For those wondering about release dates;

I've heard Mirage is 2023, Project Red is scheduled for 2024 and Hexe was intended for 2025, but has been pushed to 2026. https://t.co/pWYWuHyyDe
More details on all the Assassin’s Creed Titles under development will likely be revealed at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022.
With all these rumors and leaks, It will be fair to assume that this weekend will be fun for Assassin’s Creed fans.
