God of War Ragnarok is undoubtedly the most anticipated PlayStation game of 2022. Considering the reviews and popularity of its predecessor, God of War 2018 fans expect way more than God of War Ragnarok.

Today, during a conversation about the forthcoming God of War Ragnarok that was devoid of spoilers, the IGN Podcast Beyond team revealed that God of War Ragnarok would take over 50 hours for 100% completion of the game.

One of the IGN editors has played over 70 hours and is still doing 100% completion. However, the normal difficulties will take around 50 hours for 100% completion.

While many gameplay components have changed, the team also noted how the game doesn’t represent a significant technological improvement over the 2018 original. Based on their observations, players’ skill trees are different from those in the original game, and there are additional lighting options.

The beloved character’s adventure in the Norse realm will close in God of War Ragnarok. However, neither PlayStation nor Santa Monica Studio has provided much information on the gameplay.

Recently, it was revealed that God of War Ragnarok would use 4 different graphics options as follows;

  • Favor Resolution – 4K/30 FPS [Native 4k Resolution]
  • Favor Performance – 4k/60 FPS [Dynamic Resolution]
  • Favor Resolution (High Frame Rate) – 4K/40 FPS [With 120Hz display]
  • Favor Performance (High Frame Rate) – 120 FPS Target [With 120Hz display]

We will learn more about the game as the reviews and pre-load are set to be released on November 2, and the game is set to be released on November 9, 2022. There have been many leaks about the game in the past month, and the fans still patiently wait for the game’s release.
