It is also revealed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has managed to bag a whopping $800 Million in sales in just 3-days.
Well-known Call of Duty content creator @CharlieINTEL has also compared this new record with previous Modern Warfare games, and Modern Warfare 2 has crushed all of them in terms of sales. It proves that the love and craze for the Call of Duty franchise have grown exponentially over the years, and it’s just another year with a record-breaking Call of Duty game.

Furthermore, it is proof that Call of Duty makes up 42% of Activision’s revenue, as reported in the Q2 2022 financial report. And it’s just the beginning. Warzone 2.0 is also on its way this month and will set another high record for the franchise. Along with Warzone 2.0, Warzone mobile is also set to release in the future.
Also, there are various rumors about premium year two content for Modern Warfare 2; reportedly, a premium DLC pack is on its way for Modern Warfare 2 that will include all the popular CoD maps and rumors about maps from Modern Warfare (2009) making a comeback in the latest release.
