Assassin’s Creed is the most popular franchise from Ubisoft. Over the years, the series has gone through various locations and different styles of gameplay. The last three games, in particular, have seen a departure from the traditional style of the franchise, heading towards a more RPG-focused game.

Since then, demand for a classic Assassin’s Creed game has risen. Fans have been longing to revisit the traditional gameplay of the series, and Ubisoft’s new announcement is promising. The next Assassin’s Creed game has been officially announced and looks exciting.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming, and Ubisoft will reveal more information on the game soon. The image from Ubisoft shows a hooded Assassin with the iconic hidden blade. A middle eastern setting can also be seen.

Assassin's Creed Mirage

Before Ubisoft’s official announcement, art from Assassin’s Creed Mirage was leaked. The image seems to reveal an additional DLC for the game. The Forty Thieves Quest could reference the famous “Ali Baba And The Forty Thieves” folk tale. Fans can expect to learn more on this at the upcoming Ubisoft event.

Many leaks have also predicted that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be a very different game from the last three titles. The upcoming game is expected to cut down on the RPG elements, offering a more classic Assassin’s Creed experience

Basim from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will return as the protagonist, the only playable character. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set in 9th century Baghdad, according to previous leaks from reputed sources. Fans could also see the much-awaited return of the Eagle Vision.

While this sounds exciting enough, Ubisoft is also working on another Assassins Creed title. Leakers have been calling it Assassin’s Creed Infinity, but the real name is yet to be revealed. This is the supposed live-service title from Ubisoft, spanning multiple locations such as Japan. However, this game is not coming anytime soon.
