How We Chose The Best H670 Motherboard
Let’s look at some of the points that I considered before choosing the Best H670 Motherboards for you.
- VRM and Thermals: When selecting the best H670 motherboards, prioritize VRM quality for stable performance, especially when you overclock. Look for motherboards with robust VRMs and built-in cooling features such as enlarged VRM and M.2 heatsinks to aid in heat dissipation, maintaining optimal temperatures and also consider the number of PCB layers.
- Form Factor: Motherboards come in five form factors, ATX, EATX (Extended ATX), XL-ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX. Before purchasing a motherboard, check your PC case’s compatible motherboard size, which will help you lay down your options clearly and help you make an accurate purchase.
- USB Connectivity and Expansion Slots: Motherboards have different expansion slots like PCIe 4.0 x16 or PCIe 5.0 x16. Ensure that the components you own or any you’re to buy should be able to support PCIe 4.0 or PCIe 5.0 speeds to get full support. The same is the case with USB ports. Check if your peripheral devices can support the latest USB 3.2 generations or not, and then make a firm decision.
- Looks and Aesthetics: In the end, you consider aesthetics. If you have a glass PC case, you can understand the importance of this point. The motherboard you will be buying should suit your visual appeal and match the theming you desire to accomplish. Check the PCB and heatsinks colour combination alongside RGB support if you’re an RGB lover.
