Stake 4

As we all know, Stake 3 was one of EA’s most thrilling releases back in the day, and when Stake 4 was confirmed as being in development, fans were thrilled. It’s been over a decade since Stake 3 was launched, and the series deserves a new title. Today, we have some great news about Stake 4 and its development process to share with you.

According to recent Job Listings, Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for an Expert World Builder for their upcoming Stake title. The Job listing was posted on 19th April, location-based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the studio responsible for developing stake 4.

According to the job posting, EA is taking its time developing Stake 4 to guarantee that it is as good as its predecessor, Stake 3. Although there isn’t much information available at first glance, we can see that EA states under responsibilities for the role that the candidate will work closely with level designers to push the environment and detail of the world to the next level.

EA is interested in the specifics of the environment, the physics underlying certain objects, and their plausibility. It would make sense for EA to concentrate on the environment and realism of the world in Stake 4 to remain relevant with current graphical benchmarks and deliver an intriguing experience. Picture

Furthermore, while working on the world’s believability and richness, EA wants to ensure that it does not stray too far from its roots and retains the gameplay that the stake series is renowned for, such as the ragdoll physics. Overall, it appears that Stake 4 will be a fun title to play in the future, and perhaps it will be able to compete with the remasters of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 and recapture its throne.

Skateboarders and non-skaters alike have a cult following for the Skate games. Skate 3 had a mediocre start, but it exploded in popularity after YouTube sensation PewDiePie became fascinated with the game’s ragdoll physics which made for some hilarious clips and enjoyable content for people to watch.

ABOUT SKATE 4

EA stated in January 2021 that it had formed a new production team called Full Circle to work on Skate 4. Along with EA Sports and Respawn Entertainment, the new studio is based in Vancouver. Daniel McCulloch, the General Manager of Full Circle, was previously the General Manager of Xbox Live for Microsoft. He stated, “We’re all about having fun and developing fantastic games that people want to play with their friends,” saying, “The fans wished Skate back into existence, and we want them to feel part in the process from creation to game launch and beyond.”

YouTube video

For the time being, the only clip we can call a teaser is Skate’s official trailer.  The fan reaction to this video is positive, so maybe this has ignited the audience’s interest, and hopefully, it can deliver the hype it is generating.
