Nvidia is expected to announce GeForce RTX 40-series graphics cards based on Ada Advloace architecture on 20th September during the “GeForce Beyond” Event. But this time, we won’t see Green camp’s leading AIB partner with new GPUs as EVGA terminated its relationship after working with Nvidia for more than 20 years.
The main reason for this decision was a turbulent relationship with Nvidia. The company told Gamers Nexus that this was a matter of respect and principle, not a financial issue.

If we further talk about the reason for this long-term relationship to end. Then it includes Nvidia’s lack of sharing information about products until its official reveals, undercutting AIB partners with its Founders Edition graphics cards, and low selling margins for flagship graphics cards are a few more apparent reasons.
EVGA revenue is around 80% of the sales from Nvidia graphics cards; the company has already created several prototypes of GeForce RTX 4090 FTW3 graphics cards, which, sadly, we won’t see in the market.
Furthermore, EVGA also has no plans to partner with AMD or Intel at the moment. But they have plans to stay in business, but not for sale.
EVGA is considered by many to be one of Nvidia’s leading partners, and that makes EVGA’s exit from the GPU market terrible news for consumers. That said, EVGA wanted to take a stand against Nvidia, and EVGA should be respected for that.
If you own a GeForce graphics card from EVGA camp, you shouldn’t worry about the warranty, as EVGA will still honor the warranty.
