Final Fantasy 7 is a PlayStation role-playing video game released in 1997 by Square. In the Final Fantasy series, it is the seventh main installment. It is the first game in the main series to be released in PAL format by Squaresoft, published in Japan.

The Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary showcase will premiere next week on June 16, supposedly revealing additional information about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 that fans have anticipated.

We don’t know what details will be revealed about the remake part 2 next week, but there’s a good probability that after four years, Final Fantasy will also be available on the Xbox platform, which is huge news.

Final Fantasy Remake Part 2

First and foremost, Final Fantasy 15 was the last Final Fantasy title to be released on Xbox, and we have yet to see another Final Fantasy title on the Xbox platform.

However, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 1 was a huge success and was initially released on PlayStation, which was recently removed from the PlayStation Exclusive section in store just before Microsoft and Bethesda’s showcase.

Furthermore, as we all know, Final Fantasy’s recent announcement on Twitter invited everyone to join the stream and be a part of the celebration. However, there is one crucial detail in that tweet.

Now pay close attention to Director Tetsuya Nomura’s statement, in which he says, “Everyone can look forward to the unveiling,” implying that anyone, regardless of platform, can be a part of this broadcast, which will offer information that everyone will enjoy.

This might be seen as the Final Fantasy director implying that Final Fantasy Remake Part 2 will also be accessible on the Xbox platform.

While it is not confirmed, and we are simply trying to connect the dots here, it seems a little too coincidental that Director Tetsuya Nomura would use these exact words shortly after Final Fantasy Remake was pulled from the PlayStation Exclusive section.

While we truly hope that this is true and that Final Fantasy will be available on all platforms, this information should be taken with a grain of salt because no official announcement has been made yet, and it is based on previous acts and indications.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Final Fantasy is coming back on  Xbox? Is PlayStation going to lose another exclusive?
