- The Xbox Game Pass fall lineup is full of amazing titles.
- While Avowed was recently delayed due to Game Pass’s busy lineup, I believe the team made a great call.
- Titles like Stalker 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will be available on day one of the subscription service.
Ever since its launch in 2017, Xbox Game Pass has done wonders for Microsoft. The subscription service is currently the biggest gaming industry, with over 34 million players subscribing to the platform.
Although Xbox hasn’t been doing great this generation compared to Sony or Nintendo, the Game Pass keeps the company’s spirit alive. While the service has offered some amazing titles throughout the year, it’s going to get more interesting for the rest of the year.
As 2025 is almost around the corner, many games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and others are coming before the end of the year. Recently, Avowed developers decided to push back their release to 2025 because of the busy lineup of the Game Pass.
Looking at the Game Pass lineup for the rest of the year, I believe it will still shine bright even after the delay of Avowed.
Why it matters: Game Pass not only lets players enjoy Xbox first-party titles at launch but also offers many third-party games at launch.
Stalker 2 & Indiana Jones Are Among The Most Anticipated Titles
Finally, after many delays and nearly two decades after the first entry in the franchise, Stalker 2 is finally coming in late November.
Following the controversy of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Stalker 2 has been my most anticipated title for the rest of the year. It looks stunning in the recent screenshots, and I hope the developers have taken enough time to develop it, as the title has been delayed multiple times in the past.
Therefore, the game will likely not disappoint us at launch. However, the Series S port might be in trouble, as the team recently confirmed that Stalker 2 is running at 25 FPS on the budget console, but work is ongoing to make it run better.
Of course, Stalker 2, voted the most anticipated title for the end of 2024, will be released on day one on Game Pass. However, that’s not the only one I’m looking for, as MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is also coming before the end of the year.
It also looks stunning in the recent trailers and has been confirmed to be coming on the PlayStation 5 at launch. However, the title would still be available on day one on Game Pass, which is, of course, a much better option for PC and Xbox gamers.
These two titles will be among the biggest hits of the year, and I can’t wait to enjoy both of these titles on Xbox’s subscription service.
Black Ops 6 Will Also Arrive Day One On Game Pass
This year’s Call of Duty title, Black Ops 6, will hit Game Pass on day one, as Microsoft recently acquired Activision Blizzard.
The title will be one of the biggest games ever, as it takes 310 GB of storage on Xbox. While many people are skeptical about the title’s sales as it’s coming day one on Game Pass, I believe it won’t be hurt as Call of Duty is too big of a franchise.
It’s crazy to think Black Ops 6 will be released on day one on the Game Pass, but it’s been official for a while. While not all the perks will be given on the base model of the subscription services, the players will still be able to play the title at launch.
Much More Titles Are Coming On The Subscription Service
While I have already mentioned some of the biggest games on Game Pass in the following months, there are still many more titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Frostpunk 2, and many others that are also coming before the end of this year.
I believe the delay of Avowed was good for the title. The Game Pass lineup for fall appears to be full, as over five big titles are launching on day one in just three months, making the subscription service worth the money.
