GeForce RTX 4060 Ti To Feature 8GB VRAM, Features Template Leaked

Mid-range Ada Lovelace GPUs!

A reliable source named MEGAsizeGPU has just leaked the picture of the box design of the upcoming Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. MEGAsizeGPU has also had similar leaks in the past, with the most recent being a template for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, before its launch.

It looks like production for the next Nvidia cards might start soon.

Nvidia usually shares the box and logo design of its upcoming cards with all its AIB (board partners) in advance. However, the packaging of the product is printed much sooner than the card goes into production and might be a month earlier.

The leaked template of the box confirms that Nvidia will be launching a ”Ti” version of the GeForce RTX 4060, though it does not provide any other useful information besides that. According to Wccftech sources, the launch of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 is confirmed for March.

The only thing that is unclear is if Nvidia plans to launch the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti version alongside the regular GeForce RTX 4060. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 is expected to come in two different models based on AD106-350 GPU or AD107-400 GPU and will feature 3070 CUDA cores.

The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, on the other hand, will also be based on the same GPU but is expected to get more cores and will reportedly ship with 4352 CUDA cores. The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, on the other hand, is said to have a boost clock of 2353 MHz, while high-end custom models of the cards would easily cross that at 2745 MHz.

Both the GeForce RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti are expected to ship with the same amount of VRAM and will come equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit interface.

Pictures of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Founders edition were also leaked recently, though it’s highly unlike Nvidia would do something like that. Both the GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti were only made available through AIB partners.

There is no official launch date yet for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060, but the card is rumored to launch in May. As for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, Nvidia might launch the Ti and the regular version together.

What are your thoughts on the limited VRAM capacity of the upcoming mid-range cards from Nvidia?
