The next GPU in the RTX 40-series lineup from Nvidia would be the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti which is expected to be announced at CES 2023. Among the AIB partners for Nvidia, Gigabyte has just listed several of its upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti variants at the (EEC) Eurasian Economic Commission.
The custom variants from Gigabyte will reportedly be launching in the first week of January, including a total of 8 custom graphics cards. These 8 custom variants from Gigabyte will start from high-end variants like the Gigabyte Aorus Master and Gigabyte Aorus Elite and mid-tier variants like the Gigabyte Gaming, Gigabyte Eagle, and Gigabyte Aero. The full list of cards includes:
- RTX 4070 Ti Aorus Master
- RTX 4070 TI Aorus Elite
- RTX 4070 Ti Gaming
- RTX 4070 Ti Gaming OC
- RTX 4070 Ti Eagle
- RTX 4070 Ti Eagle OC
- RTX 4070 Ti Aero
- RTX 4070 Ti Aero OC
Regarding specs, the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will come equipped with the same GPU die that the unlaunched GeForce RTX 4080 12GB version was announced with, as the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is a rebranded version of the unlaunched RTX 4080 12GB. There is no mention of the GPU price yet, but it is reportedly priced at $999 in the Chinese market. The price that Nvidia launched the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB originally was $899. So, we are not sure what price Nvidia would choose.
Whatever the MSRP of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti may be, Nvidia now has to keep competition from the Red team in mind as the situation is not the same after the announcement of the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX offer a better price to performance value than the GeForce Nvidia RTX 4080 and the upcoming 4070 Ti.
