If there’s one game that has been the most speculated about this year, that is the upcoming sequel to the previous entry in the God of War series, God of war: Ragnarok. Ever since its announcement trailer last year, fans have been crazy to know more about the game.

The game was originally expected to launch this year, but some recent reports hinted that the game might not be completed yet and the launch might be pushed to 2023. However, today we have good news for those who have been waiting for God of war: Ragnarok. A very recent job posting has revealed that PlayStation is currently hiring for a Brand Manager, especially for The God of War Franchise

PlayStation Job Listing God of War

The listing states that the brand manager will “Partner with the studio to create and implement a strategic and authentic global campaign to support ramp and launch”. The brand manager will also be responsible for marketing campaigns like social media promotions and other stuff:

“We’re looking for a seasoned gaming brand manager to join the global brand marketing team overseeing The God of War franchise out of the esteemed PlayStation Studios. The Brand Manager will lead the development and execution of the brand and commercial strategy for the biggest release of the year and continued oversight of the storied franchise post release.

Brand manager for the God of War franchise with additional terms like “the biggest release of the year“, seems like confirmed that Santa Monica Studio is indeed expediting the launch of God of War Ragnarok to this year.

The fans of the franchise can rejoice because, if indeed PlayStation is hiring a brand manager to promote their commercial and marketing strategy, it is imminent that God of War Ragnarok is near to launch. It looks more likely than ever that the game is now ready to meet its 2022 launch and won’t get delayed till 2023 and that prospect has got us really excited.
