- This outcome might have been obvious to many as many are awaiting GTA 6’s release.
GTA 6 is shaping up to be the biggest release the gaming industry has ever seen and that by no means is a stretch. It is arguably the most anticipated game ever as just its trailer broke many records.
It along with many other games was nominated for the Most Wanted Game at The Golden Joystick Awards. However, given the hype and anticipation, GTA 6 easily dominates the category.
Why it matters: Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to release next year along with many great releases like Doom: The Dark Ages, Fable, Ghost of Yotei, and Death Stranding 2 but still, it managed to easily win in the category.
Golden Joystick Awards has officially revealed just recently that among all the nominees GTA 6 is the most wanted game. Games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Death Stranding 2, Doom: The Dark Ages, Ghost of Yotei, Fable, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Mafia: The Old Country were also nominated.
Yet, the upcoming Grand Theft Auto won. While this was obvious for many some fans might have been hoping for their most anticipated game to win.
The hype surrounding GTA 6 continues to increase as recently some screenshots were leaked showcasing how gorgeous the game is going to be. There are also rumors circulating around that the next GTA will get mind-blowing PS5 Pro enhancements.
Rockstar is also pretty confident about the title running on Xbox Series S so the PS5 Pro might be able to handle it well.
