The launch of PlayStation 5 Pro consoles has been full of controversy and excitement at the same time. Some complained about the price, while others were busy comparing how much of a difference the new model really made in AAA entries. Fans have also been wondering how much of an effect PS5 Pro could have on GTA 6, especially after the new leaked screenshots and these new scoops seem to answer exactly that.

A new report suggests that GTA 6 will get ‘mind-blowing’ PS5 Pro Enhancements using a new ‘PSSR 2.0.’ The new AI upscaler will be an advanced iteration of PSSR, allowing the open world to reach a ‘new level’ of visuals alongside good performance.

Why it matters: GTA 6 getting amazing ‘image reconstruction’ using the alleged PSSR 2.0 could completely change how we experience the game. Additionally, Sony could benefit a lot from the GTA 6 console bundle deal.

The insider HipHopGamer explained on Twitter that GTA 6 will utilize a highly advanced version of AI-driven PSSR upscaler to get insane ‘image reconstruction.’ The game will supposedly appear in much higher resolutions on the new mid-gen refresh model compared to other consoles.

On the other hand, the insider also claimed that Rockstar will reportedly bundle the game alongside PS5 Pro consoles.

It is worth noting that similar rumors in the past have suggested that Sony had been preparing to perfect the PS5 Pro launch ahead of the GTA 6 release. A past scoop also clarified that Sony allegedly struck a deal with Rockstar Games to market GTA 6 exclusively with PlayStation products.

The insider also says GTA 6 will be bundled with PlayStation 5 Pro consoles, corroborating similar rumors in the past.
