Jack Black is well known for his various roles in movies like Kung Fu Panda and more. The voice actor was also part of Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. Movie. Though the movie disappointed with 53% on Rotten Tomatoes and 46% on Metacritic, Jack Black has high expectations for the rise of gaming Tv shows and movies.

In a recent interview with BBC, Jack Black talked about the game he wants to see turned into a movie. As seen recently, gaming adaptations have grown more popular, and Tv shows like The Last of Us have impressed audiences.

Jack Black believes many other games are yet to be explored, and he further stated:

“Maybe there’s going to be a Red Dead Redemption movie?”

“There should be, because I think that [has] just as good or [an] even better story than The Last of Us.”

Like many of us, Jack Black is a massive fan of the Red Dead Redemption franchise.

If a movie based on the Red Dead Redemption games were made, it would capture audiences because the game has shown exciting characters and a fascinating story. The franchise has also been well-received in the industry and is among Rockstar’s best works.

However, Rockstar’s games are much longer than traditional games, which might prove to be challenging for a limited runtime seen in movies. As such, a franchise like Red Dead Redemption may be better suited to a Tv show.

The voice actor also praised The Last of Us Tv show. With recent releases like Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Super Mario Bros, the gaming industry has started to break into different mediums, and Red Dead Redemption could serve as another great adaptation.

Jack Black also said that he thinks Red Dead Redemption is just as good as The Last of Us or maybe has a better storyline than the HBO series. Do you agree with Jack Black?
