Marvel’s Midnight Sun is a tactical role-playing superhero game developed by Firaxis Games in collaboration with Marvel games, and 2k games published it. The game features multiple superheroes from Marvel’s comic universe, such as Midnights Sons, X-Men, and Avengers.
The game was well received by fans and media outlets, with very positive reviews. The game initially had a roster of 12 superheroes, which was later increased to 15 with the arrival of the new DLC featuring Deadpool.
The DLC is available as a standalone purchase or as part of Marvel’s Midnight Suns Season Pass (Legendary Edition); each DLC brings a new recruitable hero, three new story missions, a new update for Abbey, and a selection of new skins and costumes for the hero.
Regarding the roster of the game, it seems like the Firaxis studio had some big plans as speaking to foreign media PCGamesN, game designer Jake Solomon revealed that;
“I could make the case for probably 50 or 60 heroes. I’d be super excited to tell their stories and excited to make them bounce off of each other.
My executive producer showed me our initial roster for the game. And it was like 25 heroes. And it was ridiculous. He was like, ‘we’re never going to be able to make this many heroes and all this stuff.’”
