The price list for the upcoming MSI RTX 40-series laptops has been confirmed through Microcenter, though sadly, none will be sold under the promised $1000 price tag. Even the GeForce RTX 4050 model is priced above $1000.
The MSI Titan GT77HX among the batch is the top-end RTX 40-series equipped laptop. The MSI Titan GT77HX would come equipped with an Intel i9 13980HX processor, 64GB of DDR5 RAM rated at 5600MHz, 2 TB of NVme storage, and, to top it off, an GeForce RTX 4090 mobile GPU. MSI also offers the GE78HX Radier option, which costs $700 less and is priced at $4000.
The only difference between Titan and Raider is the difference in display technology. The MSI Titan GT77HX comes equipped with a 4k 144 Hz display, while the cheaper MSI GE78HX Radier will provide users with a much acceptable 1440P Mini-LED 240 Hz display, a suitable option for a mobile GPU.
Aside from that, the built quality might also differ between the two models, though users can go with a GeForce RTX 4080 for an additional $700 drop in price.
For a more budget-friendly option, the company is also offering its MSI Pulse 15 B13VGK. The MSI Pulse 15 B13VGK will come equipped with an Intel i7 13700H processor, 32GB of DDR5 Ram rated at 5200Mhz, 1TB NVme storage, and a GeForce RTX 4070 mobile GPU for $1500. Users also have the option to go with a $300 cheaper laptop that comes equipped with a GeForce RTX 4060 instead.
The cheapest and probably the slimmest variant is the MSI Katana 15 B12VFk, listed at $1200. The MSI Katana 15 B12VFk comes equipped with last generation Intel i7 12650H processor, 8GB of DDR5 Ram rated at 4800MHz, 512GB of NVme storage, and a GeForce RTX 4050 mobile GPU.
The Nvidia RTX 40 series equipped laptops from MSI will be available starting in February. However, the availability is dependent on the model of the laptop.
