Nvidia launched its RTX 40 series with high-end variants like the GeForce RTX 4090 and GeForce RTX 4080. Nvidia is now planning to tap into the high-mid-range graphics cards market and gearing up to launch GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
There is no official news on the GeForce RTX 4070 yet, but the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is launching next year in January at CES 2023. AIB partners are now also gearing up for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti launch; among Gigabyte with 8 custom variants and many others, MSI will also be joining in.
MSI has recently registered 7 models for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti at the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission); thanks to @harukaze5719 for spotting the listing; The list of MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SKUs includes:
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING TRIO 12G
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING X TRIO 12G
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM 12G
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM SE 12G
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPRIM X 12G
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti VENTUS 3X 12G
- GeForce RTX 4070 Ti VENTUS 3X 12G OC
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is also expected to come with 7680 CUDA Cores and 12GB of VRAM. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is the unlaunched RTX 4080 12GB variant.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will still need an ATX 3.0 power supply or a 16-pin to 2 x 8-pin adapter and is rumored to consume less than 300W. With such a low-power board, users should also not worry about melting connectors.
There is no news on the pricing of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, though we might see it sell for $899, the same price tag Nvidia was charging for the unlaunched GeForce RTX 4070 Ti.
