According to Kopite7kimi, a well-known leaker, the revitalized versions of various GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards will arrive in the first week of January next year.
To be more precise, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), one of the most significant events in terms of technology, is where this NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Super series will be announced.

If the rumors are true about the specification of the GeForce RTX 4080 Super, it will arrive with 10,240 CUDA Cores. This represents just 5% more cores than the 9,728 CUDA Cores of the GeForce RTX 4080.
It is expected to offer 16 GB of GDDR6X memory with the same 256-bit memory interface. Additionally, the frequency is still unknown, so it remains to be seen if the Super variant will provide a noticeable boost over the existing GeForce RTX 4080.
Leaks have also pointed to Nvidia combining its ‘Ti’ and ‘Super’ lineups for a new graphics card. The alleged GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is rumored to feature 8,448 CUDA Cores.
Compared to the RTX 4070 Ti, this translates to 10% more cores or 768 more CUDA Cores. This graphics card is expected to receive an upgraded 256-bit memory interface compared to its predecessor’s 192-bit memory interface.
Across the lineup, power consumption will stay mostly the same. However, the GeForce RTX 4070 Super may be the exception, rated at 220W TDP compared to the 200W of its predecessor.
Nonetheless, this will be the second time Nvidia releases Super variants of its graphics cards. In the past, the manufacturer relied on Super products after the GeForce RTX 20 series performed below expectations.
In the case of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 lineup, these graphics cards have been impressive, but their price has been a major hurdle for the company. PC gamers are hoping for revised prices alongside the new launch, but only time will tell if the new products will be priced more competitively.
