Payday 3 Hype Is Real!

Payday 3 was first hinted at last year with a release date of 2023, and in the very first month of 2023, Starbreeze Studios released the first teaser trailer of the game with the release date of this year.

Though the game’s release date has not been revealed, it is still on track for 2023, and many fans have been hoping to learn more about the game. A recent quarterly financial report further highlights the demand for the game, confirming that Payday 3 is already wishlist by over a million people.

Why it matters: Payday 2 is nearly a decade-old game, but fans still enjoy the FPS heist gameplay. With modern hardware and new technology, Payday 3 could elevate the gameplay, becoming the best entry in the franchise.

Regarding the development, the studio is trying to launch the game simultaneously on PC and consoles.

Moreover, the studio also talked about the marketing campaign of the game. Starbreeze Studio is planning to start the marketing in the summer. They have recently confirmed that the gameplay trailer will be revealed later in the summer of this year.

With over a million users adding the game to their wishlists, Payday 3 could become the franchise’s best-selling release. The franchise has sold over 9 million copies, but the third game can potentially increase this figure by a considerable margin.

Many have guessed the game might be revealed at the Summer Games Fest on June 8. This would be a great venue to highlight the game.
