- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been officially announced for PC 1 year after its release.
- While PC fans are pretty happy with this announcement PlayStation fans aren’t
- The latter thinks that PS5 holds no value anymore as all the exclusives will eventually be on PC.
It has been a year since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released and Sony decided to surprise the PC fans on its anniversary. The gaming giant has announced that the game’s PC Port will be released on January 30.
While PC gamers are delighted to hear this news PlayStation fans aren’t; in fact, they are furious. PlayStation fans have shown their frustration on social media claiming that PS5 holds no value anymore and they were expecting a DLC, not a PC port.
Why it matters: Fans don’t think there is any benefit left for the PlayStation 5 as the interval between PS5 and PC release is shrinking rapidly.
On the official PC Port announcement from PlayStation Twitter account the fandom has shown their frustration clearly. Some fans are claiming it to be a trash decision and asking where is the DLC.
AND Y’ALL CANCELED DLCS TO CATER PC CROWD 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Some are even claiming that the list the exclusive list is shrinking even more. Fans are now trolling the gaming giant by saying rather than making a DLC Hermen would prefer to invest another $200 million in its baby Concord.
What’s the f*cking point of a PS5 & especially a PS5 Pro then?!

Some users are confused with Sony’s strategy. They wonder that if PS5 Pro is more powerful than 90% of PC’s survey by Steam so why would Sony release its games on PC? Most of them are more angry due to the announcement being made so soon.
Ghost of Tsushima was released on PC after 4 years whereas God of Ragnarok was released after 2 years. So, PS5 fans might have been hoping that a PC port announcement won’t be made for at least one more year.
Some even think that the whole source code being leaked previously forced Sony to announce it sooner. The PlayStation fans’ anger seems fair as they were anticipating DLCs for the game but the developer seems to have scrapped them in favor of a PC port.
What do you think of Insomniac’s decision to announce PC Port instead of a DLC? Do you think it was the right decision? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section or join the discussion on Tech4Gamers’ official forums.
