During a recent interview, Mark Cenry spoke about console hardware in particular. Speaking to Gamesindustry, he noted that the notion of budget PCs killing consoles does not terrify Sony.
He pointed out that budget PCs may be cheap, but buying used consoles can be just as pocket-friendly. Mark Cerny believes that consoles won’t go anywhere as long as the manufacturers continue to offer a compelling package.
This includes a user-friendly interface, capable hardware, and a strong library of games.
