AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT Specifications Leak Through PowerColor Listing

Successor To RX 6800 XT!

AMD is yet to announce the Radeon RX 7800 XT, but it looks like PowerColor might have accidentally updated its website with the details of the upcoming Navi 32 graphics card.

The product page has since been taken down, but Twitter user All The Watts was able to snatch all the useful data regarding the PowerColor Red Devil 7800 XT.

The Red Devil version of the Radeon RX 7800 XT features 3,840 stream processors or 60 RDNA3 CUs. This is equal to that of the last generation Radeon RX 6800.

Compared to its predecessor, the upcoming RDNA 3 graphics card features 16% fewer stream processors. However, the new RDNA 3 architecture could still lead to more performance with these specifications.

Furthermore, the PowerColor Red Devil RX 7800 XT features a base and boost clock of 2,210 MHz and 2,520 MHz, respectively. It can also reach up to a base and boost clock of 2,255 MHz and 2,565 MHz in OC mode.

Even though the Radeon RX 7800 XT was featured on the website of one of AMD’s official board partners, the product was certainly not ready to be revealed yet.

PowerColor has also placed a disclaimer at the end of the product page stating that the information provided is for reference purposes and could be changed in the future.

Therefore, changes could be made to the final product before launch. Being an enthusiast graphics card, the Radeon RX 7800 XT will feature 16 GB of memory rated at 18 Gbps on a 256-bit bus.

On the other hand, the Radeon RX 6800 XT came with the same 16 GB memory that ran slower at 16 Gbps speed. In terms of specifications, the Radeon RX 7800 XT from AMD seems to be targeting the 70-class graphics card from Nvidia.

It could be a competitor for the GeForce RTX 4070, which in terms of performance, is quite similar to the RTX 3080. However, even if the Navi 32 GPU is faster, it might not do well on the market.

AMD has likely realized this and might price the upcoming Radeon RX 7800 XT lower or similar to its competition.
