• In our first Hitman 3 gameplay, the RTX 2070 SUPER delivers a 15.2% greater performance, reaching an impressive 120 FPS against the RTX 2070’s 103 FPS average.

According to our benchmark analysis, the RTX 2070 SUPER has a higher average of 146.4 FPS production than the RTX 2070’s 136 FPS. Hence, the RTX 2070 Super wins in the competition of the RTX 2070 vs RTX 2070 Super, by delivering a 7.6% higher average frame rate.

Coming to the worst 1% performance time, the RTX 2070 delivered 90 FPS, while the RTX 2070 Super produced a better 122 FPS. So, the RTX 2070 Super performs about 35.6% better than the RTX 2070 at low 1%.

Pricing And Availability

Nvidia launched the RTX 2070 and the RTX 2070 Super at the same price point. However, the current price of the RTX 2070 Super is 22.2% higher than the RTX 2070. And these GPUs are available in renewed conditions. Seeking a brand-new older-gen GPU is not practical.

Final Verdict: What Do We Recommend?

GeForce RTX 2070 Super: The RTX 2070 Super has a better gaming performance, more CUDA and Tensor cores, and higher thermal efficiency. Its performance justifies the refurbished GPU’s current cost.

GeForce RTX 2070: The RTX 2070 is a good GPU with better power efficiency compared to the RTX 2070 Super. Its memory specs are the same as the Super version, and the RTX 2070 is cheaper.

In the end, I would say that the RTX 2070 Super is a better GPU for gaming and overall performance. However, the RTX 2070 is a more economical option that costs less and consumes less energy.
