The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB launched on 18th July with upgraded memory, a higher price, no official reviews, and limited availability. But now, the RTX 4060 Ti has already started to sell below its recommended price.
Remember that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB is simply a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti with twice the VRAM, to put it briefly. In this way, NVIDIA neither offered nor used more GDDR6X memory to aid its catastrophic bandwidth nor more CUDA Cores to add a performance plus.
In this sense, we’re talking about spending more than 100 dollars merely to have more VRAM to play any 1080p game in Ultra without experiencing performance loss due to lack of memory.
This graphic card arrived last Tuesday, and its price has already been reduced to 30 dollars in Germany. However, the price is still unreasonable because GeForce RTX 4070 starts at 599 euros.
If we talk about the AMD graphics card, then in the German store Mindfactory we can already find an ASRock Radeon RX 6800 XT Phantom Gaming OC for 539 euros.
We are talking about 20 euros more for the same memory capacity but a much higher bandwidth. This results in 26% more performance at Full HD resolution; 31% when we go to the 1440p resolution; and 36% when we go to the most demanding resolution, 4K (2160p).
Despite the price reduction of the graphics card, GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB has sold ten units and has stayed like this for 24 hours. Most of these units sold are for reviews only!
