What We Recommend
Ryzen 9 9900X: This processor rules in terms of average FPS, consumes less power, and runs at a relatively lower temperature than its rival. Since it is new, its price is higher, but it will drop in a few months, which would make it the ideal choice, especially for gamers.
Ryzen 9 7900X: Although this CPU was behind in each aspect, it is still the best option out of the two. This is because there is not much difference in performance, power, and temperature.
Given the advantages and disadvantages of each processor, we would still recommend you to purchase the Ryzen 9 7900X because it is very reasonably priced and performs similarly to the Ryzen 9 9900X, making it the best choice for you.
Both the CPUs share similar performance with little difference in performance but a higher difference in price. Therefore, we recommend you wait for the Ryzen 9 9900X’s price to decrease before you purchase it. The Ryzen 9 9900X offers slightly better framerates, runs slightly cooler, and consumes slightly lower power than the Ryzen 9 7900X. For now, the Ryzen 9 9900X is not worth its price because it is newly released and is 44% more expensive than the Ryzen 9 7900X and offers similar performance.FAQs
