Stalker 2 has been a long time coming. The developers have suffered a long and cumbersome development cycle due to the ongoing unfortunate events in Ukraine. However, they recently revealed a demo for a select audience, and early impressions are very positive.

Why it matters: As much as GSC Game World has suffered, what they’ve managed to come up with is outstanding. Stalker 2 is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated games of 2024, and fans will be delighted to hear about the positive early response.

The demo consisted of the first hour of the game, which included a few cutscenes and the opening act. According to the previews, gunplay is one of the most important aspects of the experience, and it’ll be very familiar to those who’ve played the last game.
