The project is currently led by a Polish studio, Fool’s Theory. Fans will be glad to know that CD Projekt Red is providing creative supervision to the project, and Fool’s Theory is also home to several veteran Witcher developers.

This should mean that the upcoming remake is in safe hands. The Witcher Remake will also utilize Unreal Engine 5, similar to the rest of CD Projekt Red’s upcoming titles. The developers have also expressed their excitement at the announcement, showing their willingness to respect the details of the original title.

However, fans will have to wait a while before providing further information. Judging by the scale of the upcoming remake, fans should not expect to learn too many details anytime soon.
