Twitter has been a hot topic since Elon Musk, the wealthiest man in the world, purchased it for about $44 billion. Almost everyone has been talking about it, and the majority of people do not like the way Twitter has changed since the acquisition.
Massive changes happened quickly after Elon Musk bought the large firm, as half of the total Twitter workforce was laid off. Additionally, an $8 price tag was also imposed on the Twitter verified checkmark.
Users were upset with these changes immediately, but Elon Musk had his reasons and explained in a tweet that Twitter needed to pay the bills somehow and that they cannot rely on advertisers entirely.
However, the backlash continued, and many people started their search for a new platform, and now it appears that they may have found it, as many people are switching from Twitter to a new platform called Hive Social.

Hive Social is said to work very similarly to Twitter, where you can post images and text, follow users, like, reply, and retweet their posts, and much more. It does, however, have one feature that Twitter has been lacking for a very long time, and that is the ability to edit posts.
Although Hive Social has a significant drawbackâit cannot now be accessed through a browser like its rival Twitterâyou may access it through an Android or iOS device. Additionally, many users are also reporting several bugs which are to be expected since the platform rose to popularity so suddenly.
We don’t know what the future holds for Twitter or Hive Social, but we are hoping for the best for both of them. This is all the information we currently have, but we will keep an eye out for more news regarding Twitter and Hive Social in the future.
