Microsoft’s operating team has implemented a function to take over the basic task of controlling lightning from third-party software in build 25295. Twitter user Albacore first spotted this change.

This means that you no longer need to install third-party softwares such as Logitech G HUD, Corsair iCUE, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, and many others that are often required for the peripherals.
Some screenshots of the first versions of this feature for Windows 11 are shared by Albacore, revealing that it will soon be officially available to PC gamers. However, Microsoft has not yet confirmed that these features are working. So it is unknown when this functionality will be added to the public build through an official update.
The new personalization options will be available in the windows menu and include the option to change brightness, type of lightning effect, and changing of different colors. The Universal addition to the configuration of RGB LED lighting in compatible devices would include all USB-attached hardware, such as keyboards, numeric keypads, mouse, mouse pads, headsets, RAMs memories, motherboards, fans, chassis/case lights, and light bulbs.
It is not confirmed if this new feature will also be compatible with Motherboards and graphic cards, but technically it should be possible.
