The Wonder Woman game was announced back in 2021. While it hasn’t seen regular updates, a few leaks have emerged from a recent Monolith Productions survey. The title will reportedly feature a free-flow combat system in addition to the nemesis system.

Why it matters: Monolith Productions confirmed that Wonder Woman would be a single-player title. Seeing more details of the title emerging is also positive, as a recent report suggested that the development is currently in a troubled state.

A bunch of details regarding the title’s plot, concept art, and combat details have surfaced online. While most of them have been deleted at this point, the synopsis of the title still remains, which highlights a few story details.

According to the leak, you’ll play as Wonder Woman and defend Themyscira against deadly foes. The title will offer fast-paced, free-flow combat. This should be similar to Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War’s combat.

Monolith Productions previously borrowed the combat system directly from Batman Arkham Asylum, which helped popularize this free-flow battle system. Wonder Woman will also wield strong weapons like the Lasso of Truth.

Along with fighting with the Amazons, you’ll have to repair your relationship with your mother and the others throughout the story. The game takes place after Diana left her home many years ago, and your people now feel betrayed by your actions.

In addition, the title will feature familiar characters from the DC universe and mythical inhabitants from Greek mythology. They will be procedurally generated to make the experience even more interesting.

Overall, it is great to learn some new details about the game. Fans long to play another fully-fledged single-player superhero game after recent disappointments like Suicide Squad. Therefore, everyone seems to be rooting for Monolith Productions.
